Chest-Like Storage - I’ve got some of these for decoration but they can be used to make the grocery store function like a grocery store as mentioned above.

The Wine Cellar has a functioning Late Night Bar downstairs and a Nectar Register upstairs.

Including one right next to the register. There are several storage chests in the grocery store if you’d like to do this. I believe though that you can use Ani’s Shop from Inventory Mod as recommended on Around the Sims 3 for the register to work like a grocery store. The Grocery Store has a till at the front that sells food etc.
